What lovely lamps. Just need a coat of spray paint to perk them up. 
Looks like this paint will do the trick. Exceptionally smooth, brilliant silver, metallic finish.
Or maybe I mis-read that it should be exceptionally gritty, spray painted glitter.

wow, that is WAY wrong! stupid can of paint, totally misleading! hopefully the next attempt will be the one. I still like the lamps..
You know... I had problem with some silver metallic spray paint recently too! It must be finicky! Hope what you try next works for you!!
