Here are some links to some much better written testimonies and tributes to the Prophet Gorden B. Hinckley. He feels like a grandfather-like figure to me. He was so very tender and wise and though I never personally sat down with him, just watching him and listening to him, I felt calm and encouraged by his actions and words. He very much reminds me of my Dad.
